Founded by Berlin-based artist and type designer Oliver Jeschke, OGJ Type is deeply rooted in a tradition of meticulous craftmanship. Oliver’s time spent in Basel, Switzerland — immersed in the legacy of great designers such as Max Bill — continues to shape his work. In collaboration with Erich Schmid and the max bill georges vantongerloo foundation, OGJ Type has developed typefaces that draw from the spirit and principles of Max Bill’s design philosophy.
